Why CalmArms

The first form coach that actually pays attention.

Pose detection, rep counting, and form scoring — all running locally on your phone, all the time you're lifting.

Real-time pose detection

On-device ML reads 33 body landmarks every frame.

No cloud. No lag. Your skeleton is tracked in real time so feedback lands the moment your form drifts.

Auto rep counting

Just lift. We handle the math.

Reps are detected and scored individually so you can see exactly where in a set form starts to break.

Privacy-first

Your camera feed never leaves your phone.

All inference runs on-device with Apple's CoreML stack. We don't see your training. Nobody does.

Works offline

Garage gym? Basement? Still works.

Full functionality without internet. Sessions sync automatically the next time you're back online.

The grading system

Five axes. One grade.

Every rep is scored 0–100 across angle accuracy, range of motion, stability, tempo, and bilateral symmetry. The weights shift per exercise so the grade reflects what actually matters for that lift.

A

Score 90 – 100

Excellent form.

Clean angles, full ROM, steady tempo, balanced sides. Keep going.

B

80-89

Good form

C

70-79

Needs work

D

60-69

Poor form

F

< 60

Exercise library

Four lifts. Thirteen variations.
All graded the same way.

Each variation has its own ideal-form template, scoring weights, and form-issue detector tuned by exercise mechanics — not a generic model.
